Solon pushes P1B-worth of projects in Mindoro Print E-mail

CALAPAN CITY: A total of P1,015,950,286 worth of various projects have been brought and implemented in this city and the other seven municipalities, comprising Oriental Mindoro’s first district, by Rep. Rodolfo Valencia from 2004 until the end of last year.

This was learned here following the public’s disclosure only now of Valencia’s 2004-2007 summary report of accomplishments for his congressional district for the past three years.

The said total amount of different projects came from the fund allocation by different government agencies, from Valencia’s Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF), and funds resulting from the solon’s coordination with other national and foreign organizations for the benefit of Calapan, and the municipalities of Puerto Galera, San Teodoro, Baco, Naujan, Victoria, Socorro and Pola.
