POLICE nabbed a convicted cop killer 22 years after he bolted the Sablayan Penal Colony in Occidental Mindoro.
Laguna Provincial Police Office director Senior Supt. Felipe Rojas Jr. said Norberto Oca, 62, was arrested by members of the Victoria municipal police Station in the province last week when he paid a visit to his relatives.
Oca was convicted for killing a policeman in the early 80s and sentenced to a maximum of 12 years in jail.
He was taken to the Sablayan Penal Colony in 1984 to serve his term. But he escaped in March 1985 and lived the life of a fugitive until his arrest last week
