MANGYAN DOT NET: Virtual City of Mindorenos!

Aprubado na sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan, sa pangunguna ni Bise-Gobernador at SP Presiding Officer Maria Estela Felipa M. Aceron ang 2008 Annual Budget ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Oriental Mindoro noong Disyembre 28.

Umaabot sa P701,179,232.00 ang laang gugulin ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan para sa taong ito.

Batay sa Comparative Distribution of Expenditures ng Annual Budget, 47 porsyento o P328,816,362.00 ng kabuuang budget ang laan sa pagpapatupad ng iba’t ibang programa at proyektong pangkaunlaran ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan, sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Gobernador Arnan para sa taong ito.

Sa sectoral allocation of expenditures, 42 porsyento o P298,073,382.00 ang laan sa social services kabilang na ang calamity fund, mga programa at proyekto sa education at manpower development, health and nutrition, employment generation, housing and settlements, social security, social services and welfare at infrastructure support sa social development.

Umaabot naman sa 31 porsyento o P215,596,401.00 ang laan sa General Services o sa mga programa at proyektong naglalayong maiangat ang kalidad ng organizational structure, systems and procedures gayundin ang resource generation at ang pagpapaigting ng LGU-NGA-Private at Civil Society linkages. Kasama rin dito ang supplementary appropriations sa Judiciary, Prosecution at COA at infrastructure support para sa institutional development.

Dalawampu’t pitong (27%) porsyento naman ang laang gugulin para sa economic services o P187,509,449.00. Ang nabanggit na halaga ay laan sa general administration at support services sa mga programa ta proyekto sa tourism promotions, livelihood, skills at micro-small-medium enterprises development, one town one product (OTOP) at LIKHA Ka enterprises, investment promotion at infrastructure support sa economic development.

Itiniyak ni Provincial Budget Officer Nennette M. Pineda na sa ilalim ng aprubadong 2008 Annual Budget ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan, maipatutupad ang lahat ng mga programa at proyektong pangkaunlarang nasasaad sa inaprubahang 2008 Annual Investment Program ng Oriental Mindoro.
